DELOITTE RECOGNIZED AS MIDDLE EAST’S BEST CONTINUITY AND RESILIENCE PROVIDER IN 2016
The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) recognizes outstanding contributions of business continuity professionals & organizations in the region
Deloitte was awarded the Continuity and Resilience Provider (Product or Service) award by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) in the Middle East during BCI’s 6th Annual Business Continuity and Emergency Response Forum.
“Winning this award for the first time in 2014 and again this year reaffirms Deloitte’s commitment to working tirelessly with clients across all sectors to ensure that their programs enable effective continuity and resilience in a highly complex and challenging business environment,” commented Tariq Ajmal, Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) partner and leader of Information & Technology Risk Services at Deloitte in the Middle East.
Deloitte presented an interactive session on crisis simulation and war-gaming, providing attendees with innovative techniques and methods for simulating crisis scenarios.
“Our work is driven by our sense of responsibility in advocating business continuity for societal security in these challenging times. Our foundation will continue to be not only an evolving Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework that enables practical and effective resilience and recovery capabilities, but also one that is aligned with leading industry standards such as ISO22301 as well as nation specific BCM standards such as NCEMA 7000,” concluded Ajmal.
