Contis, a leading provider of end-to-end banking, payments and processing solutions in the UK and Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of FlaviaAlzetta as Chief Executive Officer.

Flavia, who joined the business in June, brings with her over 25 years’ of blue-chip leadership and financial services experience including 14 years at American Express where she held the positions of  General Manager of its Merchant Business in Italy and Vice President of its European B2B business. Prior to joining Contis, Flavia was at Kuoni, where she was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the GTA business.

Contis has invested significantly in developing a market-leading proprietary banking and payments platform, capable of delivering a broad range of financial products and solutions to consumers and businesses.

Through its white label capabilities, the business is taking advantage of the rapidly growing alternative banking and fintech market, allowing partners to access an end-to-end, real time processing solution that reduces reliance on multiple providers across the payments ecosystem to deliver unrivalled reliability, security and functionality.

Flavia will play a key role in executing the next phase of the business’ ambitious growth strategy, comprising continued product innovation and market expansion. She joins a highly talented senior management team, drawing on valuable experience from the likes of Amazon, Payzone, TSYS and GE Capital.
