CITNOW TRAINS WORKSHOP VIDEO EXPERTS ONLINE WITH ELEARNING PROGRAMME
- Automotive video expert CitNOW expands online offering to incorporate Workshop eLearning
- eLearning educates workshop technicians and management professionals to independently produce high quality video communications for customers
- eLearning modules are accessed through CitNOW’s dashboard
- Certificates awarded on completion of an eLearning module
Automotive video expert CitNOW has expanded its online offering to include eLearning for workshop customers, making it easier for workshop professionals to deliver consistently high quality video communications.
Already available for CitNOW’s dedicated Sales app, the Workshop eLearning module complements the CitNOW Workshop app. The intuitive online module demonstrates the key principles of shooting high quality video, enabling workshop staff to become master video presenters.
The Workshop eLearning module will be available free of charge from mid-December through the CitNOW dashboard, and has been designed to be intuitive, fun and visually stimulating. The module will be consistently updated to keep pace with the CitNOW Workshop app.
One of the key benefits of eLearning is to allow the learner access when it suits them. This approach will help the Service Manager when training a technician to use video as they will have seen and understood the basic techniques already and the online module can easily be revisited as a refresher for existing video presenters.
The eLearning module can also be accessed by service advisors to gain a greater understanding of how workshop technicians are using video, supporting effective external communications.
Those who complete the eLearning will be awarded a certificate, which helps service managers identify trained video users when recruiting and adds an incentive for those taking part.
Alistair Horsburgh, CEO of CitNOW commented: “The addition of an engaging and interactive online training tool to CitNOW Workshop means workshop management, service advisors and technicians alike can gain the maximum benefit from using video to communicate with customers.
“The benefits of using eLearning are clear. With clear incentives for the user, eLearning is easy and fun to use, making it an efficient way to train staff consistently and effectively.”
