In 2000, he joined KPMG peat Marwick then CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation), a consulting, solutions and IT services company where he was a consultant before becoming partner in charge of the asset management market.

He joined CAPCO France in early 2015, a management consulting firm dedicated to financial services where he was in charge of asset management, insurance, securities and market infrastructures.

Joseph El Gharib, 48, is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering of the Lebanese University and holds a PhD in applied mathematics from the Ecole Polytechnique.
