Ross Cameron: Book Signing in the Berkshires

Renowned day trader and founder of Warrior Trading, Ross Cameron, recently signed copies of his new book to a packed house in the Berkshires in Massachusetts.

Speaking to an audience at home good store Railroad St. Collective, Ross Cameron explained how he got into day-trading and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

His new book — How To Day Trade: The Plain Truth — was launched late last year to much acclaim. It’s billed as a compendium of straight talk about what it really takes to become a day trader and how to learn what you need to know. And when it comes to day-trading, Cameron’s someone who not only talks the talk, but also walks the walk. While his experience is far from a typical result, Cameron’s famously known for turning $583.15 into over $10 million.

Ross Cameron Tells the Berkshires What It Takes To Be a Day Trader

Many people ask Ross Cameron how he made it to where he is today and how they can do it themselves. Warrior Trading was founded to help people learn how to trade and his book is a detailed and insightful road map to becoming a day trader.

But Cameron doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to explaining what it takes to be a day trader. In fact, in his book, he tries as hard as he can to convince people not to trade.

“Ross keeps it real,” said Ahmi, a reviewer on Amazon. “He gives you all the reasons why you shouldn’t be trading if you are not serious or not giving it your all! He doesn’t try to sell you anything, but educate you about the risks involved in day trading! My favorite part about the book is the first few chapters where he talks about his growth and downturns before he became a profitable, consistent trader!”

And that’s what Cameron did at his book signing in the Berkshires — telling people his story, recounting the highs and the lows of his life and journey, and helping everyone understand what it takes to be a day trader.

Connecting With Readers in the Berkshires

Ross Cameron said he was delighted to visit the Berkshires and meet with readers, fans, and members of his Warrior Trading platform.

“It was a great opportunity to meet a number of our members at Warrior Trading who are local to the Berkshires,” said Cameron about the event.

Ross Cameron’s book outlines that in order to be successful as a trader, people first need to learn a lot of basic concepts, such as the types of instruments you use to trade and how they work, how to use a trading platform, how to manage a trading account, and how to read charts, to name just a few.

Next, he explains the importance of understanding how to manage your risk. He delves deep into the psychological side of trading — how to ride the highs and the lows, how to manage your expectations, and how to not let the bad days get you down.

He even explains the type of technological kit and setup that works best for him as a trader.

Ross Cameron Gives Back to Fans and the Community

“If you have dreamed of becoming a day trader, this book is dedicated to you,” Cameron writes in the tome. “You and I are so much alike. We share the same dream and I hope we have the same drive. I’m just a little farther down the path than you. I’m here to support you, and I hope this book is a way of sending the ladder back down to help you.”

Proceeds from his book sales at the signing were donated to the Railroad Street Art Collective, a Berkshire organization run by local artisans, including Aaron Meshon, who did the graphics for Ross Cameron’s book. The Railroad Street Art Collective’s mission is “to create a prominent and collaboratively run shopping experience in which to share our work directly with people passionate about nuanced, handcrafted goods.”

Readers Are Loving How to Day Trade

Cameron’s How to Day Trade: The Plain Truth is receiving rave reviews on Amazon and currently has a rating of 4.7 stars.

The content was an unexpected yet delightful surprise, said Cubbie83.

“It’s not a boring textbook on trading, but an inside look into the thought processes and experiences of a day trader I’ve been following on YouTube for about five years now,” said the reviewer. “He does a deep dive into a lot of the psychological issues by weaving it into a narrative of his own journey. It could also be subtitled ‘What you have to know before placing one trade.’ It’s in a clear conversational format that I would feel comfortable recommending to anyone from 14 to 84. This book will be a reference for me even after I become consistently profitable.”

Another reviewer said the book should be required reading before people start to trade.

“I’ve been trying to figure out the world of day-trading and get a better understanding of what’s involved for about a year now. After feeling barraged by the endless streams on social media and countless offers to make me rich in 30 days for just $29.99, Ross has finally laid out an honest perspective of what to expect in this world behind the monitor, the non-sugar-coated version,” wrote Peter Thomas in his Amazon review.

“Very well written about the journey along the way! Then the way it ended with those two interviews was the perfect way to see the results from a detailed planned strategy. This should be required reading for anyone looking to get into the world of trading! Thank you for the time and knowledge put into this book! Looking forward to more from you! Continued success!!”

How to Day Trade: The Plain Truth by Ross Cameron is available through online retailers including Amazon and at warriortrading.com for $9.95 (electronic), $18.95 (paperback) and $24.95 (hardcover).
