BNP Paribas has named Karine Delvallee as its new regional head for Southeast Asia, overseeing operations in five markets and focusing on growth and client relationships.
SINGAPORE (Reuters) - BNP Paribas said on Wednesday that it has appointed Karine Delvallee as its new regional head for Southeast Asia and new chief executive officer of the BNP Paribas Singapore branch, according to a statement from the French bank.
In her new role, Delvallee, having previously served as CEO of BNP Paribas Australia and New Zealand, will lead BNP Paribas' operations across its five Southeast Asian markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, the bank said.
She will be responsible for driving the bank's growth strategy across these markets, focusing on strengthening client relationships, it added.
She will continue to supervise Australia and New Zealand on behalf of Paul Yang, BNP Paribas' Asia Pacific CEO, according to the statement.
