In this free interactive online session, led by Professor Ana Galvão of Warwick Business School, we will discuss how to measure the effects of monetary policy in the economy.

The webinar will look at how to measure monetary policy shocks, that is, exogenous changes in the policy rate and the computation of dynamics effects on output and prices, and show how to compute these effects using a local projection approach.

Ana teaches on the part-time, online MSc Global Central Banking & Financial Regulation programme, which is suited to those working in the financial industry, be that banking or regulation.
