GLOBAL FUND FORUM BRINGS THE ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT INDUSTRY BACK TO BERMUDA WITH AN EXPANDED AGENDA OF SPEAKERS AND EXPERT PANELS
Now in its third year, Global Fund Forum diversifies agenda to offer more content to more alternative investment professionals
Hedge Connection, Inc. announced today that their annual alternative investment conference, Global Fund Forum, will return to the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda with a new and expanded agenda. The event will be held October 24-26, 2016 and registration options are inclusive of a more diverse range of attendees than in years past.
This year’s event will include a track of panels focusing on alternative topics and a new Table Talks session which will give participants and experts a setting to discuss industry topics tableside. Thirty five managers will be invited to participate in one-on-one meetings with investors, and five managers will be invited to pitch a panel of allocators during Deal Ring, a “Shark Tank” style of competition.
“As we build out the agenda for the third annual Global Fund Forum, it is important that we provide a well rounded experience for all attendees,” says Hedge Connection CEO Lisa Vioni. “We have expanded our agenda so that it diversifies well beyond the one-on-one focus of previous years. We look to include a wider audience of alternative investment professionals and provide a forum to provoke thoughtful debate around current industry topics.”
A distinguished faculty of speakers, including industry executives, thought leaders and motivational speakers, will participate in Global Fund Forum 2016. James Rosebush, Ronald Reagan’s Deputy Assistant and Nancy Reagan’s Chief of Staff will coach managers on their pitch in preparation for Deal Ring. Select allocators will participate in one-on-one meetings with invited managers.
“As a fund manager, I found Global Fund Forum to be an invaluable experience. It was both educational in terms of understanding what investors are looking for in a manager as well as an excellent platform for meeting with these investors in a beautiful setting,” says 2015 participant Zach Halpern, Chief Investment Officer of Dwight Securities.
A number of registration options are available and include discounts for Bermudian residents, members of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, and members of Hedge Connection’s Capital Club. Interim pricing discounts are currently available for a limited time.
