Czech Government May Sell State-Owned Explosives Maker Explosia
Potential Sale of Explosia and Its Implications
Government Considerations for the Sale
PRAGUE, May 22 (Reuters) - The Czech government may sell state explosives maker Explosia and possibly use the proceeds for military investment under the country's NATO defence spending commitments, news agency CTK quoted Prime Minister Andrej Babis as saying on Friday.
Interest from Foreign Entities
Babis said France had shown interest through President Emmanuel Macron, as well as some European companies, Babis said, adding that the government would need to keep some control due to the firm's relationship with the military.
