May 28 (Reuters) - German ticketing firm CTS Eventim on Thursday said its revenue grew by 23% in the first quarter of 2026, driven by strong demand for live entertainment.
Growth Drivers in Live Entertainment Segment
"The growth of the Live Entertainment segment was primarily driven by tours and events in a number of markets, including successful US tours and highly popular events in Germany," CTS said.
Key Financial Highlights
- The company's revenue came in at 613.5 million euros ($714.79 million), up from 498.6 million the same quarter last year
- Sales of its live entertainment segment rose 38.3% to 403.6 million euros between January and March
- Adjusted EBITDA in the live entertainment segment rose 151.1% year on year

Industry Perspective
Live music differs from recorded music, where oversupply drives prices to the lowest common denominator, said Edward Vyvyan of Rothschild & Co Redburn.
