Poland’s PANSA announced that airports in Rzeszów and Lublin, which had been closed due to preventive military aviation triggered by Russian strikes on Ukraine, have now resumed operations. The closures allowed military and NATO aircraft to operate safely in the country's airspace.
WARSAW, April 15 (Reuters) - Poland has reopened airports in Rzeszow and Lublin after they were temporarily closed because of military aviation operations, the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) said on Wednesday.
The Polish army said earlier on Wednesday evening that military aviation operations began in the country's airspace due to strikes by the Russian Federation's long-range air forces on Ukrainian territory.
