An interview with the CEO of IQ Option Europe Ltd, Alkis Hilton, recipient of the “Best Binary Options Broker Europe 2015” award.

Q: You received the Best Binary Options Broker Europe 2015. For you, was this an expected award? In general, how much of an achievement is this for IQ Option Europe Ltd?

A: We never set ourselves the goal of getting any particular award, but we are really pleased to win the Best Binary Options Broker in Europe 2015award by version of Global Banking & Finance Review Awards 2015, because it speaks to the recognition we’ve received at the international level. Especially since the nomination was made by a solid European financial market magazine.

Q: So you don’t aim to win awards?

A: Companies that seek only to win prizes, they usually do not get them. Seems a bit paradoxical, doesn’t it? In fact, everything is simple: recognition goes to organizations that seek to satisfy the needs of customers, to be the best in the market, and to offer the most convenient, secure and innovative service. And this is what we do. IQ Option focuses on customers, is constantly evolving, and takes new heights. This recognition and the award have come as a consequence.

Q: They say that for a young broker it is especially hard to operate in such a competitive market. Even in Russia you can find several big name European companies. How has IQ Option Europe Ltd succeeded in such a short period of time to gain the trust of customers and gain recognition in the international market?

A: First off, we’re not that young anymore. Two years in the industry, a bunch of awards, millions of clients all around the world. But yes, when we just started, we set ourselves one goal and it was to “reflect progress.” This does not mean that we only sought to launch innovative services. For us, the most important thing is the client. When a client is so pleased with the service he would not exchange it for a competitor, it shows the high quality of service.

Q: What about innovations?

A: We innovate very actively to ensure that customers feel our reliability and are happy with our platform. At IQ Option we regularly upgrade our platform. Over the years, the platform improved. We looked at the reviews of users and took into account all their wishes and complaints to update our service. That’s how the latest version of the platform, which we are proud of, was created.

Q: What is more important: stability or ambition?

A: At IQ Option it is all about the balance between ambition and stability. On the one hand, we are constantly developing, regardless of what our competition is doing. On the other hand, the pure pursuit of status would have a negative impact on service. We must ensure the safety of our customers to inspire confidence, and not just introduce innovation for its own sake. By keeping this balance, we have become the market leader by version of Global Banking & Finance Review Awards 2015.

Q: How did you get the recognition of the international market?

A: We have been highly appreciated by Western analysts and experts. In the West, one of the main criteria for evaluating brokers is reliability. IQ Option provides customers with a high level of security. This was noted by experts in the beginning. Of course, the level of service, technology, and other advantages of the platform are also appreciated.

Q: Can you list some of the awards, which you previously received?

A: First, we won the title of the “Best Binary Options Broker Europe”by version of Global Banking & Finance Review Awards 2015. This happened in the early days of the company, and we were very happy about this award. Indeed, in our work, we weren’t seeking any awards or honors, but simply leadership in the market and a good reputation among customers. However, with the status of the best broker of the year, we attracted the attention of new customers and it contributed to the development of the brand.

Q: What are the company’s plans for the future? Do you want to develop in any particular direction?

A: We are committed to the values that were established in the formative years of the company. This means innovation, progress, and striving to become better and offer the best and most secure service for customers. Today, even to maintain the status quo, we need to constantly evolve. And because at IQ Option we are more ambitious than that, we have plenty of work ahead of us. Receiving awards from Global Banking &Finance Review only motivates us to develop further.
