MILAN, May 20 (Reuters) - Stellantis said on Wednesday it planned to create a new Europe-based joint venture with its Chinese partner Dongfeng for shared sales and distribution, manufacturing, purchasing and engineering activities.

Sales and Distribution Strategy

The Stellantis-led JV would take be responsible for the sales and distribution of Dongfeng's Voyah-branded vehicles in designated markets in Europe, with plans to bring the production of Dongfeng's new energy vehicle models at Stellantis' Rennes plant in France, the Franco-Italian carmaker said in a statement.
