HELSINGBORG, Sweden, May 22 (Reuters) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said on Friday his government will spend more than 4% of the country's gross domestic product on defence this year and is on its way to 5%.

Germany will suggest intensifying defence cooperation with Ukraine with the goal to speed up production, Wadephul also said prior to a meeting of NATO held in Helsingborg, Sweden.
