Fiat to Begin Sales of Grizzly SUV and Grizzly Fastback Across EMEA in H2 2024
Fiat's Expansion Strategy and New Model Launches
MILAN, June 3 (Reuters) - Fiat will start sales of its Grizzly mid-sized SUV and Grizzly Fastback model in the second half of this year in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with plans to expand to other regions, the Stellantis-owned brand said on Wednesday.
Stellantis Business Plan to 2030
As part of its new business plan to 2030, Stellantis is aiming for more than 60 new vehicle launches and 50 significant refreshes, across all brands, to help claw back the market share the automaker has lost in several regions, including in North America and Europe, its largest ones.
Grizzly Models: Features and Platform
- Measuring under 4.5 metres in length, both models are built on the 'Smart Car' platform, which underpins Stellantis' budget models including Fiat Grande Panda and Citroen C3.
- They will be available in petrol, hybrid and fully electric versions
Market Expansion and Production
- Fiat plans to extend their sales to the Latin American market, it said in a post on LinkedIn, which also featured the first official image of the two models.
- The two models will be produced in Morocco, a source said
- The automaker did not disclose details on selling prices.
Fiat's Strategic Importance for Stellantis
- Stellantis has identified Fiat as one of its four core brands, on which it plans to concentrate around 70% of its brand and product investments.
