True Potential’s launch of V6 arms advisers with the UK’s most integrated financial services platform yet

Global Banking And Finance 1 News

Financial services firm True Potential says it is ‘putting advisers and investors first’ with the launch of V6, its single integrated platform, sparking its biggest-ever system update with over 4,800 UK advisers set to benefit from the move.

True Potential has built its V6 platform from the ground up to offer IFAs class-leading client servicing tools – it will allow IFAs to service more clients, more effectively, than ever before.

The rollout to 800-plus True Potential Adviser Services firms, representing 22 per cent of UK IFAs handling £78bn worth of investment, has now started and is scheduled for completion by the end of May.

V6 is a single integrated platform that brings together the three core elements of True Potential – the back-office system, the Wealth Platform, and client servicing tools, such as the firm’s unique client websites. It means everything an adviser needs to do business can be accessed quickly, easily and from anywhere in the world, from one single online location.

The launch – previewed for the first time at the True Potential annual conference in March – has been welcomed by industry insiders and will deliver sector-leading performance.

Ian McKenna, from the Finance and Technology Research Centre, said: “I have yet to see anything on the market that can match up to True Potential’s version five, so V6 is by definition streets ahead of the competition. Having spent much of the last six months travelling around the world looking at leading edge financial advice technology, True Potential is the only system I have been shown in the UK that is on a par with the best in the world – the gauntlet has been thrown down and it is up to the rest to catch up.

“In two years’ time, if you don’t have a mobile proposition for your business, you don’t have a proposition at all. It is essential for IFAs to embrace connected, mobile, multi-screen solutions such as True Potential’s offering.”

Daniel Harrison, senior partner at True Potential, said that V6 will give new-found flexibility and freedom to operate in a tough post-RDR climate as well as an enhanced customer experience.

“Put simply, V6 delivers added value to advisers and their clients. The financial services sector is currently experiencing change like never before, so it is essential that the advisers are armed with the most powerful, most user-friendly tools available to them. We believe V6 falls into that category,” he said.

“V6 has been built specifically with a post-RDR market in mind, so while regulation is increasingly tough, and compliance is harder than ever to achieve, our V6 system, at least, is designed in a way that speeds up operations, streamlines processes and frees advisers up so they can do what they do best: advise their clients.

“We are one of the fastest-growing financial services firms on the market and V6 will give us the perfect platform from which to achieve further growth.”

The features on the new platform include:

  • Enhanced client servicing tools – allow IFAs to look after more clients than ever before, more effectively than ever before
  • Class-leading usability – pages and ‘clicks’ removed to speed up processes
  • Responsive design – V6 works on any connected device, with a display that automatically adapts to suit any screen size
  • Value propositions – RDR-compliant, scalable and tailored value propositions to keep clients informed every step of the way
  • Expanded offline functionality
  • Every part of V6 is just one click away thanks to its ‘mega menu’ approach
