NTT Security, the specialised security company of NTT Group, has announced changes to its senior management team in Europe to help strengthen its presence as a leading provider of managed security services (MSS) and strategic and technical consulting services across the region, and to work more closely with its operating companies. Kai Grunwitz takes on the newly created role of Senior Vice President EMEA, responsible for the development of NTT Security’s consulting and MSS go-to-market strategy, and collaborating with the operating companies to drive substantial growth across Europe. Christophe Jourdet also becomes Director of Alliances EMEA, while Charles Bovy becomes Director of MSS Pre-sales EMEA.

Kai Grunwitz moves from his current role as Senior Vice President Central Europe, reporting to Frank Brandenburg, COO and Regional CEO. An innovative and respected executive with a career in developing and driving business strategies on behalf of dynamic enterprises, Kai has more than 25 years of experience in various top management positions, including VP of Consulting Germany and Switzerland at Oracle and Head of Professional Services Central Europe at Sun Microsystems.

As Director of Alliances, EMEA, Christophe Jourdet will help drive NTT Security’s business with its operating companies. The EMEA Alliances Team will focus on the generation of incremental MSS and Consulting opportunities by acting as key interface between NTT Security and sales organisations of the NTT operating companies. In addition, Christophe will continue as Country Lead for France.

In his new role as Director of MSS Presales, EMEA, Charles Bovy will take on responsibility for building a strong MSS business for NTT Security, leveraging the company’s strong advanced analytics and MSS platforms with multiple European SOCs (Security Operations Centres). Charles and his team will work across EMEA supporting MSS opportunities in growths areas, including South Africa. He will also continue in his role as Country Lead for Benelux.

Frank Brandenburg, COO and Regional CEO, NTT Security, comments: “The latest senior management appointments in the EMEA region reflect the new and improved structure of our organisation. NTT Security is the specialised security company of NTT Group, and I am confident that the enhancements to our talented senior management team will help us to deliver one global and collaborative approach to enabling business resilience through our managed and consulting services.”

Frank concludes: “Security risk can come from anywhere – that’s why we need to be everywhere. Our consistent global approach aligns cybersecurity to the needs of any business anywhere in the world. Ultimately, our goal is to become the global centre of excellence for security.”
