James has over 13 years’ experience in the industry, most recently working for GE Capital Equipment Finance where he held variety of roles. James was a member of the field-based sales team at GE, and operated within the materials handling, construction and transportation verticals, working closely with both vendors and intermediaries to source valuable origination opportunities.

In his new role, James will support Brian Warbrick, focusing on Aldermore’s growing presence within the materials handling sector.

James Pigrem, Business Development Manager, Manufacturer & Dealer Services, Aldermore, said: “Aldermore is a growing business that has made real inroads into the UK business lending market in recent years. I’m looking forward to playing a key role in strengthening the team’s capabilities and using my existing relationships to broaden the Bank’s client base, as we continue to help small and medium-sized businesses gain access to the funding they need to achieve their ambitions.”

Stewart Good, Head of Manufacturer & Dealer Services, Aldermore, said: “James’s appointment further demonstrates our commitment and focus on our manufacturer and dealer services offering and he brings a wealth of industry experience that will support our existing field sales team. Moving forward, we are aiming to grow our partnership community and expand our reach across both existing and new market sectors, as well as introducing new capabilities and products through our sales platform.”
