HAMPSHIRE TRUST BANK MOVES TO LARGER LONDON HQ TO SUPPORT EXPANSION
Hampshire Trust Bank, the specialist bank, has moved into new custom designed headquarters at 55 Bishopsgate in the City of London.
At 21,000 ft², the new office is significantly larger than the bank’s previous headquarters and provides room for expansion.
Mark Sismey-Durrant, Chief Executive Officer at Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “This is an exciting day for the bank. We have come a long way since our relaunch in 2014 and moving into our new headquarters will enable us to take the next step in our journey and continue on our strong growth trajectory.
“We are currently financing the construction of more than 1,500 residential units for UK housebuilders and the vehicles and equipment for over 4,200 SMEs. With our launch into Commercial Mortgages last year and the continued increase in business and personal savings customers and deposits, we are in a strong position to fuel future growth and deepen and broaden the financial solutions we provide to UK SMEs in our chosen markets.”
Hampshire Trust Bank transitioned into profit over a year ago, reporting significant growth in its most recent results announcement. The bank recently made a number of key appointments such as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Asset Finance, to help ensure the bank is well positioned to make the most of future opportunities.
Hampshire Trust Bank lends to UK businesses, providing asset finance, property finance and commercial mortgages. It also offers savings accounts to individuals and businesses.
