This year, in response to modern European trends, the report has been designed in a minimalist style. A traditional layout, an easy-to-read prints and investor friendly presentation of financials shown as tables and graphs were the most characteristic features of this report.

In his Statement, Alexey Sokolov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank ZENIT OJSC, noted that in 2012 ZENIT Banking Group’s goals were to maintain the financial stability and increase the effectiveness of its business.

“The focus was on modernising our branch network and infrastructure while developing sales and customer services. The balanced approach to risk management and continued diversification of business ultimately enabled us to achieve positive results and realize all our targets,” commented Alexey Sokolov.

According to A.Sokolov, the strategic objective for ZENIT Banking Group in 2013 will be a conservative growth of its main performance indicators. We will also continue our drive to improve the quality of customer services, modernise online banking services and optimise our regional branch network.

The Annual Report of ZENIT Banking Group for 2011 won the Best Annual Report Design and Idea contest (the annual reports of joint-stock companies nomination), which was held at the 11th Sochi International Investment Forum 2012.

The “teamwork” concept was chosen as a theme for the 2011 Annual Report. The rugby positions of the Russian national rugby team players, sponsored for many years by Bank ZENIT, were used as illustrations in the report.
