Ben brings with him over 10 years’ experience working with SMEs in England and Australia. Predominantly helping growing businesses with their cash flow, Ben has also worked in the credit insurance industry protecting clients against bad debts.

Ben is joined by Sales and Marketing Coordinator Dan Gamble who has 10 years’ experience in commercial finance, having worked at a number of major banks and independent invoice financiers. Based in the firm’s head office in London, Dan will focus on building brand awareness, strengthening the client experience and facilitating the team’s activities across all regions.

Rob Kelly, Head of Sales (UK), said: “I am delighted to welcome Ben and Dan to our growing UK team. The business has performed strongly since it was established three years ago, and the latest expansion reflects our plans to further strengthen our presence in the UK and enhance the range of funding available to SMEs across the UK.

“We offer a complete range of invoice and trade finance solutions to businesses across a range of industries and their expertise in the sector will no doubt play a key role in strengthening our sales performance and further expanding our reach in regions across the UK.”

Ben Milner, adds: “Scottish Pacific has a growing presence in the UK and I am excited for the opportunity to return to the North and work closely with the UK team to build on that further.

“I know first-hand how our flexible finance solutions can help growing businesses and I aim to work with new and existing contacts to build a permanent presence for Scottish Pacific in the North.”

Dan Gamble, concludes: “The potential of Scottish Pacific to give SMEs new options to fund their businesses is very exciting. A flexible cross section of products that can really suit many different needs and a growing team in the UK allows us to support even more businesses.”

The Australian-listed business finance provider, which also has operations in New Zealand and China, expanded into the UK market in 2015 with a focus on offering a full suite of working capital finance products to SMEs across manufacturing, wholesale, retail, distribution, import and export.
