Realex Payments, Europe’s fastest growing payment service provider, is pleased to announce the UK rollout of its Business bootcamp series in partnership with London Technology Week.
The launch of the London based bootcamps, ‘Get Online, Stay Online’, follows a 95% YoY growth for Realex Payments in the UK last year and will be hosted in the business’ new UK offices. The bootcamps will offer forum-style workshops to assist businesses with developing an online strategy and will cover a variety of topics with expert advice on how to achieve online success.
Regarding the launch Realex Payments COO, Gary Conroy, who will be speaking at the first bootcamp event on 17th June, commented: “Our aim is to connect industry experts with eCommerce business owners so they can share knowledge, experiences and offer useful advice and practical tips. In other markets where Realex Payments operates, we have seen great benefit accrue to businesses that collaborate more closely and who engage in industry led discussions, hence our bootcamps are very well attended.
Our core business values of Passion, Innovation, Service, Security and Delivery mean we are perfectly positioned to deliver this education piece to both established and emerging businesses. We are committed to assisting our customers with their online sales journey and this is just the first of a number of initiatives we have in the pipeline.”
The workshops will run throughout 2014 and will feature a selection of expert retailers and solution providers, including Gareth Christian-Lim, Director from Welford Media and Amanda Faul, Operations Director at Vendorcom, who will share their experiences of setting up and maintaining an online store as well as offering advice and guidance. The free of charge sessions will cover topics including multi-channel selling, building online presence, generating relevant traffic and improving conversions.
Adrian Newton, Group Director at UBM Live, organisers of London Technology Week, commented: “A critical focus of London Technology Week is to share best practice and knowledge to insure London businesses continue to thrive. Events such as the bootcamps that Realex Payments is running are an important part of this mission. We’re delighted to have them on board.”
The launch event will be held at the new Realex Payment’s office in Hammersmith, London on Tuesday 17th June kicking off at 6pm with a relaxed reception of beer, light bites and networking.
The event is free to attend and open to anyone with an interest in selling online or helping others to do so. Anyone interested in attending or taking part can visit:
