PROFILE Software (www.profilesw.com), a leading financial solutions provider, announced today the launch of the FMS.next Universal Banking in a new technological platform. The new version introduces an innovative approach to the operation of banking platforms, constituting a major technological upgrade of PROFILE’s international banking system.

Based on the latest .NET framework and designed with the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), FMS.next now offers a modern, flexible and easy to navigate user interface to Bank users. Integrated customization capabilities allow users to accelerate daily tasks and increase productivity, efficiency and user satisfaction.

FMS.next is shipped either as a desktop application or accessed through a Web browser. The Web and the Desktop domains are served by a common presentation foundation that is built adopting MVVM principles and that will also be used to support the Mobile domain in the immediate future.

Utilising either ClickOnce technology or the Silverlight framework, users instantly access the rich functionality of FMS.next, sparing the Bank from complex and deployment-expensive setup procedures. Furthermore, FMS.next can operate over any industry-standard RDBMS like MS SQL, Oracle or IBM DB2, offering unparalleled flexibility to the Bank.
