Mobile Momentum – Sociomantic reveals ‘AppKit – a new tool enabling in-app personalised display campaigns for the full funnel

This week Sociomantic announces the release of a number of mobile advertising firsts for the business. First is a suite of in-app advertising solutions enabled by its new AppKit technology, as well as its Stream reporting app that makes it possible for our clients, some of the largest retailers and advertisers in the world, to apply CRM targeting tools to monitor their own campaign results in real-time for iOS and Android devices and anywhere on the go.

The company, who recently announced new offices in Asia, is moving from strength to strength, after consistent quarters of profitable growth.  With the launch of these new services, they are well poised to compete in the increasingly diverse (and crowded) ecosystem of CRM, programmatic and display advertising, as well as behavioural targeting, all key areas for advertising technology (or “Ad Tech”) providers.


AppKit: Brings together Programmatic Personalisation to In-App Marketing campaigns

The AppKit is Sociomantic’s proprietary software development kit, and enables clients who have their own mobile apps, to execute a ‘seamless’ programmatic display campaigns with four distinct objectives:

  • To drive app installations from brand-new users;
  • To drive engagement with users who may already have installed a company’s mobile apps;
  • To drive traffic from mobile websites to their own apps;
  • To engage with high-value segments of existing customer sets with personalised in-app advertising notifications.

One of the company’s on-boarded clients is Turkcell, Turkey’s largest mobile network operator. The Turkish MNO says they are also excited about the opportunities presented by the release of the AppKit functionality:

The Stream Goes Mobile, With New App

At the same time, the release of Sociomantic Stream, a new client-facing reporting app for iOS and Android, makes it possible for our clients to monitor results of all Sociomantic campaigns via their mobile devices. The company noted at launch that they are“proud” to say that this app is the first of its kind available from any demand-side platform in the programmatic ecosystem.
