Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers KGaA (H&A), a leading German private bank, is using Dion Global Solutions’ SEPA Gateway to process SEPA payments. The bank is now fully SEPA compliant with Dion’s solution supporting all affected transactions, including domestic direct debit payments (DTA) and SWIFT 103 messages.

“To ensure we can continue to deliver a superior service to our clients we are taking SEPA compliance very seriously,” said Christian Gorges, Project Manager at Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers KGaA. “Dion provides our bank with a clear way forward, which fully meets the requirements of Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers. Its flexible, scalable solution will ensure we are in a position to process SEPA payments and direct debits from the get go.”

Dion’s SEPA Gateway is quick and easy to implement. The solution is built on a flexible, rules-based engine that can be customised to support a range of business requirements and transaction volumes. Standard interfaces are provided to all major clearing houses including Deutsche Bundesbank.

Norbert Steinbach, Country Manager at Dion Global Solutions Luxembourg said: “Our close co-operation with Hauck’s project team has allowed the bank to hit compliance targets way in advance of the newly proposed SEPA deadlines. Our SEPA Gateway technology simplifies migration projects for banks, reducing complexity without the need to make changes to existing business operations. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Hauck to ensure that any newly enforced regulatory measures are met in good time.”
