Annual ranking identifies the UK’s strongest B2B brands

Finastra has been included in the UK Business Superbrands for 2018, following the combination of Misys and D+H in June 2017. The list, which has been tracking the UK’s leading business-to-business (B2B) brands since 2001, recognizes the company – for the third year running (listed as Misys in 2016 and 2017).

The Business Superbrands are identified by surveying 2,500 business professionals from across the UK and a voluntary Business Superbrands Council, which comprises leading business-to-business marketing experts. The process, managed by The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA) in partnership with Research Now SSI, saw just over 1,500 brands from across 62 categories judged against the three core factors inherent in a Superbrand: quality, reliability and distinction.

Martin Häring, CMO at Finastra said, “To feature on the Superbrands list alongside the likes of Microsoft, Apple and Google is an amazing accolade. Having made the list twice previously as Misys, we are celebrating this hat-trick and all of our employees who have embraced our open, collaborative vision. It is recognition of the brand attributes we held in high regard previously and the hard work that has gone into embedding these deeply as we’ve built our new Finastra brand over the last 10 months. It is truly our people who have helped us amplify our brand, by living and breathing our values in their work every day.”

Stephen Cheliotis, CEO of The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA) and Chairman of Superbrands said, “In a year where Brexit has dominated British press and there is a looming sense of foreboding, we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate some of the UK’s strongest brands. Superbrands is the definitive benchmark for companies who’ve set the agenda, outwitted the competition and built enviable reputations. Competition in the B2B space has been fierce and retaining Superbrand status is a notable achievement so it is fantastic to see that the same brand attributes that awarded Misys Superbrand status for the past two consecutive years have already been deeply embedded in Finastra. “
