The Partners Demonstrate how they are Empowering Digital Transformation with Comprehensive and Intelligent Business Applications in the Cloud

Microsoft Inspire — Business and technology executives received a sneak peek of Episerver and Microsoft’s unified business suite this week in Las Vegas as part of Microsoft’s annual partner conference, Inspire 2018.

The combined solution demonstrates how enterprise customers can transform their digital experiences and digital operations on Microsoft Azure.
Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure Cognitive Services and Microsoft Power BI combine seamlessly with Episerver Digital Commerce for Dynamics 365 and complement Episerver’s integral rich content management, AI-based personalization and enterprise search capabilities. The result is a powerful, end-to-end resource that helps businesses reimagine how they bring people, data and processes together to create exceptional value for their customers while driving competitive advantage in the digital-first world.

“Episerver and Microsoft have a long and successful history of enabling our mutual customers to push their organizations forward by simplifying their complex business challenges,” said James Norwood, executive vice president strategy and chief marketing officer at Episerver. “We’re continually recognized as the top .NET-based digital commerce vendor by industry analysts, and this solution that combines Episerver commerce with every aspect of Microsoft Dynamics 365 further cements the ease at which Episerver works with Microsoft to enable our joint customers to become digital leaders.”

At Inspire, Episerver and Microsoft jointly showcased noteworthy use-cases with the unified business suite, which capitalizes on both platforms’ many capabilities:

    • Omnichannel Fulfillment: Organizations utilizing Dynamics 365 for Operations and Finance and Episerver Commerce can now more easily incorporate omnichannel store fulfillment scenarios including buy-online, pick-up in store, view store inventory online and endless-aisle.

    • Fully Informed Customer Engagement: Visitor behavior such as pages viewed, referring URL, products viewed, device type, geo-location and transaction history are stored by Episerver’s customer data platform (CDP) and synchronized with Dynamics 365 Sales allowing call center agents and sales reps to quickly see this information and act upon it.

    • Personalized Product and Content Experiences: Machine learning algorithms from Episerver’s Personalization Suite produce accurate product and content recommendations leveraging Dynamics 365 for Sales, Finance and Operations data using Microsoft Logic Apps to individualize engagement with customers based on their historical and real-time behavior.

    • Effortless Analytics and Journey Insights: Business leaders can now gain easier and deeper insights into customer and prospective customer behavior using Power BI embedded within Episerver and drawing upon the combination of Episerver’s CDP and Microsoft’s common data service.

“Modern retail means having a complete, accurate view of all products, orders, pricing, and customer data in one place, and then using that information to inform exceptional experiences anywhere along the customer journey,” said Muhammad Alam, General Manager, Microsoft Business Applications Group. “Together with Episerver, we’re helping retailers achieve valuable, personalized experiences by unifying all commerce data and experiences across all channels.”
