    • McLaren 570S and Range Rover Vogue top list of most financed by JBR Capital
    • British-made cars crowned winners ahead of German, Italian and Japanese exotica

British-made luxury cars rank as the most popular in 2018, according to JBR Capital, the UK’s leading independent finance provider dedicated to high-end vehicles.

Four of the top 10 most financed cars by JBR Capital so far this year are made in Britain, ahead of exotic supercar rivals from Germany, Italy and Japan.

The 204mph McLaren 570S, built at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, is the most popular luxury high-performance model that JBR Capital has provided a loan for in 2018. Finance on the 570S starts at just over £1,800 a month (over a four-year loan period).

The Range Rover Vogue, produced at Land Rover’s plant in Solihull, was ranked second in the luxury loan league table and can be financed for even less, at under £1,000 a month (over the same period).

The Bentley Continental GT, hand-finished at the factory in Crewe, also appeared in the top 10 alongside the McLaren 720S.

Britain’s four models were enough to see off cars from Germany (three), Italy (two) and Japan (one) in the luxury competition.

Darren Selig, Executive Chairman at JBR Capital, said, “Britain may not have won the World Cup this summer, but it’s on top of the automotive world. The ‘Made in Britain’ tag is still highly sought-after among our high net worth clients, whether that’s for supercars or luxury SUVs.

“While you might expect wealthy owners to rush to Ferrari and Lamborghini dealers, it’s actually McLaren and Land Rover where we’ve had the most demand for finance packages so far this year.”
