Azur, a Managing General Agent (MGA) specialising in the high net worth market in the UK, will showcase its innovative e-learning platform for UK general insurance brokers, called Broker iQ, at the BIBA Conference and Exhibition 2017. The product is accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to provide e-learning content for general insurance brokers.

Broker iQ has been designed with broker user experience and convenience in mind. Brokers can access the platform anytime, anywhere, using any device, enabling them to continue their professional development at their own convenience.

Brokers can also use Broker iQ to track and evidence their annual CPD structured learning hours, providing a transparent audit trail of development hours logged and modules completed. Brokers can claim one CII CPD hour for every hour of learning for each of the Broker iQ training programmes where the learning meets their professional development needs.

This launch is only the first phase of Broker iQ. The second phase will see the introduction of an ungated platform that will publish blogs, articles and thought leadership written by experts from across the insurance industry. This will further support the broker community by providing brokers with valuable content that is tailored to their needs.

Azur will also be unveiling more of its broker technology during BIBA this year, including an online document wallet, which is currently in production. The document app is designed to be an easy and convenient way for customers to access their Azur insurance policy and directly report a claim.

The Broker iQ platform can be found at https://broker-iq.azuruw.com.Azur will be demonstrating Broker iQ and the document wallet app at Stall E75 at the BIBA conference.

Kate Wells, Managing Director, Private Client Group at Azur, comments:

“Azur is committed to using technology to revolutionise the broker and policy-holder experience – and Broker iQ and the document wallet app are the first steps towards achieving that goal. Our dedicated e-learning platform gives brokers anytime, anywhere access to original content and modules that will count towards their individual CPD goals. Broker iQ will also improve brokers’ knowledge and understanding of the industry, ensuring professional development is accessible and engaging.

“Our document wallet shows how Azur puts product design at the centre of everything we do, it allows insureds to easily and quickly access policy documents through an app and saves brokers from having to manually assemble and send out documents.”

“This is Azur’s first year at BIBA and we are looking forward to meeting everyone over the coming days, so do come and say hello to the Azur team at Stall E75.”
