The hybrid workforce solutions leaders named UK National Champion in Prestigious Awards competition
LONDON, DATE: Gibbs S3, Europe’s fastest growing hybrid workforce solutions provider has been named as a National Champion for the UK in The European Business Awards – a prestigious competition supported by businesses leaders, academics, media and political representatives from across Europe.
The accolade is the latest to head Gibbs S3’s way in a hugely successful year for the world-class staffing and consultancy specialist, which is based in Surrey. The company has become the only corporate-level business to be officially certified as an EMB (Ethnic Minority Controlled Business) by MSDUK, and its CEO and founder Farida Gibbs has just been named as one of most of influential women working in the staffing industry across the world, being named in The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list compiled by Staffing Industry Analysis (SIA).
The company is also celebrating record growth in its 10th year of business with UK revenue growing 29 per cent to reach £32.24m, and is on track to hit £46m this year, demonstrating impressive growth of 42 per cent. It has seen global revenue grow to £180m and its US operations were recently ranked as the 17th largest staffing firm in the country by industry analysts SIA.
The European Business Awards celebrate the most dynamic and exciting businesses across the continent who actively demonstrate a set of principles – success, innovation, ethics and international mind-set.

The European Business Awards engaged with over 32,000 business from 33 European countries this year and, as National Champions, Gibbs S3 will go through to the second phase of the competition. The next round requires the National Champions to make a presentation video, telling their unique story and explaining their business success. The judges will view all of the National Champions’ videos, and award the best of this group the coveted ‘Ruband’Honneur’ status. Ruband’Honneur recipients will then go on to be part of the grand final in 2016.
