The Leicester Riders are one of the oldest, and most successful basketball teams in Britain and as they prepare for the start of their 2018/19 season, Ventola Projects are pleased to be on board as one of the team’s official commercial partners.
This is the second season that leading LED lighting and electrical specialists, Ventola Projects, have been a commercial partner for the high-flying team and as a business made and grown in Leicestershire, they are the perfect addition to the season’s sponsorship line-up.
Supporting The Riders throughout the upcoming season, which runs from September 2018 – April 2019, Ventola’s sponsorship will help fund further investment into the club and its players.

Mick Ventola, the founder and Managing Director of Ventola Projects, said: “Myself and all of the team at Ventola Projects are delighted to once again be supporting The Riders in this way. The team enjoyed a fantastic 2017/18 season and I am personally looking forward to seeing what more they have in store.
I think it is extremely important for local businesses like us to support those around us that are too striving for success. It is sports teams such as The Riders, who help put Leicester on the map and without sponsorship they are not able to make the crucial advancements they need to continue rising through the ranks.”
The Riders have claimed four British Basketball League titles, two British Basketball Cups and reigned supreme as the title holders for the BBL Trophy for the past three consecutive seasons. So, all eyes will be on the team to see if they can make it a quadruple win.
Ventola’s sponsorship comes at a time of great progress and achievement for the team, as they were also recently announced as the first UK side to play in Europe, after being accepted into the 2018/19 Basketball Champions League!
