Leading law firm Joelson has been invited to take part in an event at the London School of Economics (LSE) aimed at some of the country’s top business leaders.

Hosted by In Touch Networks and sponsored by Joelson, the event held on the 4 July 2017 from 6.30pm will offer attending non-executive directors the chance to hear from a number of informative speakers.

Led by In Touch Networks’ Curriculum Director Anne Watson, and entitled “The Challenges of a Non-Executive Director”, the night will focus on developing a portfolio of non-executive directorships, compliance with Corporate Governance Code and the Companies Act.

It will also feature an interactive question and answer session with a panel of experienced non-executive directors ready to share their expertise and knowledge.

Speaking ahead of the event, David Greenhalgh, Employment Law Partner at Joelson, said: “We are really delighted to be supporting this fantastic event at the LSE as Joelson has a long history of working closely with a number of non-executive directors and the businesses they support.

“Non-executive directors play an important role in companies, but with the position comes a great number of responsibilities and a greater need to understand legislation and regulations.

“I hope our attendance will give guests a better appreciation of the legal aspects affecting the businesses they support.”
