Strategic marketing, product innovation and new technology adoption drive growth

The Smart Cube (www.thesmartcube.com), an award-winning global analytics company, has announced the expansion of its leadership team with three senior appointments. Ruth Crawford joins as chief marketing officer (CMO), Jeremy Weil as chief product officer (CPO) and Dheeraj Garg as chief information officer (CIO).

The Smart Cube provides analytics and research services to Fortune 1000 businesses, financial services institutions and management consulting firms around the world.

Led by CEO, Gautam Singh, and co-founders, Omer Abdullah and Sameer Walia, The Smart Cube has doubled in size in recent years and with its analytics business increasing by 160% in the last 12 months, the company is now aiming to double in size again over the next three years.

CEO Gautam Singh said: “With the global business environment becoming ever more complex, our clients increasingly work with us as an integrated extension of their team providing the critical analytics and insight they need to make better business decisions. With these key additions to our executive team, we are well-positioned to support our clients’ goals and accelerate our substantial growth plans.”

Crawford, who held previous roles at Opower, Mambu and SunGard, brings more than two decades of global marketing and communications experience with leading companies and disruptive start-ups to the table and will lead the company’s branding and marketing strategy.

Serial entrepreneur, Weil, is tasked with developing new scalable solutions to extend the company’s existing service lines. Prior to joining The Smart Cube, he was product director for a global commodities information platform at RELX and a strategy consultant with Deloitte, working with a wide range of media brands.

Garg, who brings more than 20 years of application development experience, is spearheading The Smart Cube’s ongoing technology transformation, supporting new product development, harnessing tech innovation and accelerating existing process automation.

Commenting on the new appointments, Jonathan Lerner, managing director of Smedvig Capital, said: ‘This is an exciting time for The Smart Cube. There is a huge market opportunity for this fast-growing business and by adding the depth and expertise that Ruth, Jeremy and Dheeraj bring to the senior team, The Smart Cube is well-positioned to capitalize on this significant opportunity.”
