Rt. Hon. Robert Halfon MP officially opens Golden Houses Developments 30,000 sq ft joinery workshop in Harlow

New site provides much needed space for leading construction company as it fulfils A-list assignments from Tottenham Hotspur and Mayfair penthouse

Golden Houses Developments – the leading London construction company specialising in the high-end residential market – has opened its new 30,000 sq ft joinery workshop in Harlow, Essex.

The new space was officially opened by Rt. Hon. Robert Halfon MP, Harlow’s representative in the House of Commons, on Friday, 20 July 2018.

The development comes in the wake of a rapid period of growth for Golden Houses Developments, which anticipates it will reach 100 per cent capacity by the end of the year. Thanks to the new joinery workshop, the firm are able to continue its growth and take on more projects in addition to the variety of A-list projects which they are currently involved with.

On Golden Houses Developments’ current client list is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, who have appointed the company – led by renowned business leader Monika Slowikowska – to provide a joinery package for their new stadium. Golden Houses Developments are providing banqueted seating, waiters’ stations, bars, changing rooms and a media room for the state of the art sports venue which is set to open in North London this year.

Robert Halfon MP said, “It is always great to see a new business coming to Harlow with a view of expanding here too. Golden Houses is providing jobs and skills to many locals which can only be a good thing. Monika and her team are doing wonderful things so I look forward to seeing what comes next for them”.

Monika Slowikowska, Founder and managing director of Golden Houses Developments, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for us as a company, as we expand our business and capabilities. There are many exciting developments in the pipeline, and thank Robert Halfon MP who officially opened the workshop as we usher in a new era for Golden Houses Developments.”

Golden Houses Developments’ 18-strong workforce is also working on cabinetry for a high end Penthouse in Bolsover Street, Mayfair, as well as doors and wardrobes for three new build luxury houses in Blenheim Terrace, St John’s Wood and many more.

Using the joinery workshop, Golden Houses Developments will be able to manufacture in an even more efficient and environmental way, producing high-quality joinery products for building projects and external clients. Processes will be made more efficient, and Golden Houses Developments also plans to develop a line of ‘Healthy Furniture’ in the future; which will use only natural materials and environmentally-friendly paints.

With a larger headquarters, the firm will have an excellent opportunity to grow its apprenticeship programme, from its current quota of six apprentices to at least 20 in the next year.
