PHOEBUS SOFTWARE INCLUDED IN TIMES TOP 100 BUSINESSES

Phoebus Software Ltd (PSL) has been included in the 2015 Times Top 100 small and medium sized companies to work for.PSL achieved the highest rating possible – a three star accreditationawarded only tocompanies which achieve extraordinarylevels of engagement with their staff.PSL’s three star accreditation was announced at an awards ceremony last night (Wednesday 25^th February) at Battersea Park in London.

The accreditation is carried out by an organisation called ‘Best Companies’and sponsored by The Times newspaper.  Best Companies has been producing the accreditation since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace and it focuses on workplace engagement as an integral part of an organisation’s success and growth.

Best Companies send questionnaires to all staff who can then fill them in anonymously.  They rate the company on eight key criteria including: their manager, leadership, the company, personal growth, their team, fair deal, giving something back and wellbeing.  PSL had more than 81% of its questionnaires returned, which demonstrates the value their employees see in the survey.

Any company from across the UK with more than 50 full time equivalent staff can enter the accreditation process, so it is a huge achievement for PSL to come in the top 100.

PSL built onits previous strong performance in the survey having achieved two star status twice before; however this is the first time that they have achieved three stars, described by Best Companies as “an extraordinary achievement”.

PSL’s managing director, Paul Hunt, says “Coming in the Top 100 of all small and medium sized companies is an amazing achievement for PSL and shows just how far we have come in the past 25 years.
