High-productivity application platform as a service continues to increase its footprint across enterprise IT as businesses juggle the demand for applications, digital business requirements, and skill set challenges, report states.

For the second consecutive year, Gartner named OutSystems a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise High-Productivity Application Platform as a Service (hpaPaaS) 2018.

OutSystems believes this year’s report raised the bar for high-productivity platforms assessing support for rapid application development (RAD) of mobile front-end applications, enterprise core systems, and omnichannel business applications, as well as next-gen apps that incorporate IoT, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation (RPA).

“OutSystems continues to redefine the enterprise software market,” said Paulo Rosado, CEO of OutSystems. “We have thousands of customers transforming their businesses every day with low-code. We think this year’s Magic Quadrant is additional evidence of tremendous market momentum with high-productivity solutions quickly becoming a critical part of the enterprise IT stack.”

The OutSystems high-productivity aPaaS is a comprehensive low-code platform that addresses critical issues like the skyrocketing demand for new business applications, the need to modernise aging legacy systems, and the shortage of necessary developer skills. OutSystems covers the widest range of capabilities for full-stack development and full lifecycle management including business process management (BPM), integration workflows, UIs, business logic, data models, web services, and APIs.

In addition to looking at completeness of vision, the Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors on their ability to execute.

Gartner Peer Insights documents customer experience through verified ratings and peer reviews from enterprise IT professionals. As of 27thApril, 2018, OutSystems has more than 300 verified customer reviews across the Mobile App Development Platforms, High-Productivity Rapid Application Development Tools, and Enterprise High-Productivity Application Platform as a Service markets, such as the following:

“OutSystems is great low code platform which enables us to provide business solutions at a great pace and hence helping us go to market quicker.” Manager, Mobile Solutions, in the Services industry Read Review Here

“Our overall experience with OutSystems has been positive. We continue to improve our development times and meet or exceed our customer expectations. Working directly with the vendor has proven to be very beneficial to the success of our product implementation.” Senior Applications Developer in the Education industry Read Review Here

“OutSystems is fantastic to do fast applications and complex applications with a reduced timeframe. Even the deployments between environments are very fast and easy.” Software Engineer in the Healthcare industry Read Review Here

“A Leader in Their Field for a Good Reason, the Only Low-Code Platform to Consider. Our overall experience with OutSystems has been fantastic, in that the technology does what we need it to do, and the OutSystems team assisted us early on with much of our questions and concerns.” Director of Software Engineering in the Manufacturing industry Read Review Here
