Collaboration offers new insights to Governance, Risk and Compliance challenges for clients around the globe

Leading ethics and compliance software and services company NAVEX Global® has announced that it will partner with global law firm Baker & McKenzie to help clients navigate an increasingly dynamic regulatory environment locally and worldwide.

Successful compliance programmes require a holistic approach informed by both applicable employment law as well as regional or country specific best practices for compliance programme management. This partnership brings together recognised leaders in employment law and compliance programme system software and online training solutions for the benefit of their joint and respective clients.

Initial areas of focus for this effort will include Baker & McKenzie vetting NAVEX’s Global compliance training courseware for legal accuracy and comprehensiveness, and providing insight on the implications of new legislation affecting compliance programmes. In addition, the firms will collaborate on the development of sample polices and other resources which illustrate best practices in compliance programme implementation. The partnership also provides opportunities to reach clients through participation in NAVEX Global-sponsored webinars, conferences and client roundtables.

“We are excited to be partnering with the good folks at NAVEX Global, the world leader in its space,” said Scott Nelson, Baker & McKenzie Relationship Partner for NAVEX Global.  “We believe that the synergies of our relationship will add value to our clients.”

“Organizations big and small are looking for better ways to manage compliance programmes in a globally intelligent manner,” said Chris Morton, SVP Marketing & Corporate Development, NAVEX Global. “Baker & McKenzie and NAVEX Global share the perspective that clients need holistic compliance solutions, and we are excited to demonstrate the benefits of this collaboration to clients.”
