Overcome the challenges and ‘ride off with the gold’

MyFirmsApp, developers of the largest global custom App platform for accountants in practice, is running a webinar on HMRC and the plans for Making Tax Digital on Thursday, December 14th 2017 at 12.30pm.

The ‘Good, Bad and the Ugly’ webinar is being chaired by Tony Margaritelli, Chair of ICPA, and will consider some of the questions that surround MTD such as ‘What does being in practice mean these days and will MTD change this?’ and ‘Will accountants have to work differently?’  The aim of this informative session is to provide helpful advice on how to combat MTD when it comes into effect and to identify who the ‘good, bad and the downright ugly’ are.

The session will look at how new developments in technology can help smaller firms break into the digital world with applications and systems that were once perceived as unaffordable for smaller practices. Gaining access to new and affordable technology can make even the smallest of clients much easier to handle and ensure the firm is more profitable.

The live and interactive webinar will look at:

    • The latest up-to-the minute facts on Making Tax Digital and the 24 month road map ahead
    • Chilling findings from the recent HMRC strategy team meetings and the HMRC Key Stakeholders Group
    • The implications for accountants in practice
    • Why accountants will remain vital in the months ahead
    • How to retain all your clients and helpful tools that can help secure even more
    • The hidden and the obvious dangers of HMRC’s free software and App

MyFirmsApp has been working closely with accountants and professional organisations such as ICPA in 2017 to find out exactly what MTD means and what kind of solutions the profession wants for its’ clients.

Joel Oliver, CEO, MyFirmsApp said: “Accountants are in a highly privileged position as they can influence how businesses will operate in the new digital world. We believe that MTD represents a once in a lifetime opportunity for accountants to be seen by their clients as doing ‘good’ in the emerging ‘good, bad and ugly’ scenario. They can provide UK businesses with the functionality and technology to solve their legal obligations in a painless, simple manner.”
