Following the success of last year’s Perrys Exceptional Awards, Kent based chartered accountants Perrys is delighted to announce the launch of its 2017 community awards campaign to recognise and reward inspirational and exceptional individuals, charities and businesses across Kent.

Last year’s winners included exceptional individuals Fred and Fran Long from Tonbridge, who volunteer tirelessly on behalf of community groups and charity projects. Other winners included the charity Kent MS Therapy Centre, and local businesses The Fitness Link in Orpington and St. John’s Pharmacy in Sidcup.

Five awards will be up for grabs this year with the categories confirmed as Perrys Exceptional Small Charity, Perrys Exceptional Large Charity, Perrys Exceptional Business, Perrys Exceptional Business Community Initiative and Perrys Exceptional Individual.

All nominations will be judged by a panel from the local community and shortlisted finalists will receive two free tickets to the awards ceremony in November.  The winners will be announced during an evening of fine dining in the stunning surroundings of Leeds Castle.

Stewart Pope, CEO at Perrys Chartered Accountants, said:

“The awards celebrate not only the community of Kent, but the individuals, charities and businesses that go to exceptional lengths to make a real difference to those around them, often with little reward or recognition.

“It is with this in mind that we are extremely excited to be launching the 2017 Perrys Exceptional Awards and can’t wait to uncover more hidden gems from the county that are quietly leading extraordinary lives, and performing outstanding acts, on behalf of those around them.

“We are so proud to be a part of such an incredible community and we encourage everyone to take part and nominate an individual, charity or business they feel is truly exceptional – whatever the reason we want to hear about them.”

To make a nomination please email exceptionalawards@pmwcom.co.uk with full details of the category you would like to enter along with the name of the charity, business or individual you are nominating.  For more details, please visit www.perrysaccountants.co.uk/exceptional-awards-2017.

The closing dates for nominations is Monday 31st July 2017.
