Reading, United Kingdom– Invenio Business Solutions announced today that they have successfully completed a set of projects for the Australian aerospace manufacturing and logistics company, Ferra Holdings Limited. The project, which started back in January, includes a Landscape transformation from On-premise to AWS on Cloud environment, SAP ECC EhP8 and BW 3.5 ABAP Stack to 7.5 on JAVA Stack with WAD technical upgrade, company-wide rollouts and implementation of GST for their Indian subsidiary.
Ferra specialises in designing, manufacturing and assembling fully integrated aerospace structures and sub-systems.
They are one of the largest and most successful independently owned Australian manufacturers in this field with a fully global organisation spread across Australia, United Kingdom, USA and India.
Invenio was selected by Ferra as a strategic partner for SAP, and these projects are the stepping stone that enables a larger overall transformation to be achieved in the long run. For this initial phase, Invenio was chosen to work on a variety of projects to transform Ferra’s current SAP environment, including the implementation of new tax functionality for their India entity. Invenio has also completed a technical upgrade of their ECC and BW systems including Web application design to the latest enhancement pack along with company-wide rollouts with minimum Downtime option
Invenio’s Managing Director, Arun Bala, commented: “We are very pleased that we had the chance to work with Ferra Group. I am glad we helped them to achieve the objectives of the project and we’re looking forward to working together on further phases of Ferra’s transformation in the future.”
Ferra Group’s Chief Financial Officer, David Rogers, commented: “We have found Invenio very approachable throughout the project and have felt in touch with the business at all times. The project was delivered on time and on budget and we are happy with the way things have gone. We look forward to working with Invenio going forward.”
