Jason Rager is an entrepreneur, investor, and financial executive with almost three decades of business experience. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Rager Family Office, he has shown unflinching dedication to high moral business standards, long-term value creation, and philanthropy. Despite his current prestigious position, his storied journey through small business development and strategic expansion is what gave him the skills to grow small investments into multi-million-dollar businesses.

Jason Rager started his entrepreneurial career in the 1990s by commencing to construct and market computers directly to customers via the Internet. Beginning with only a little capital and a lot of determination, he grew his company into a successful business. Having seen the potential in technology, he taught himself programming in C++ and C#, continuing to hone his technical skills.

Jason started an online payment service for homeowner associations in 2002, showcasing his entrepreneurial bent in the financial technology sector. He was rewarded for his early success when he received the Eagle Scout title from the Boy Scouts of America in January 2003. He graduated from Capital High School in Boise, Idaho, in 2003 and received the Presidential Education Award for academic achievement and leadership qualities.

One of the turning points in Jason's business life was when he hired his first employee, marking the shift from individual entrepreneur to leader of a business. In going through this process, he became even more convinced that the most effective ways to leave lasting marks were to build an organization and to lead a team.

Since then, Jason Rager has had a diverse range of roles during his professional career that have developed his expertise in business development, strategic planning, and financial management. Jason attended Babson College, one of the top colleges in the nation renowned for the study of entrepreneurship and business. At Babson, Jason grew more interested in accounting and finance, discovering 'truth in numbers.'

During college, he arranged financing to purchase a chain of eight retail business units in the northeastern United States. This initial success shaped him into a smart investor and strategic thinker. In 2011, Jason authored 13 Essential Steps for Evaluating a Franchise Opportunity, a manual to assist entrepreneurs in evaluating and investing in franchise businesses. After this success, he developed Franchise Analyzer, a computer software utilized to assist individuals in analyzing franchise investment opportunities. These ventures became part of the Rager Capital Partners portfolio.

Jason's financial management skills and business development skills prompted him to diversify his business interests into advertising space, digital media, and technology. He was eventually appointed the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Rager Family Office in Wilmington, Delaware in 2015. The firm, under his guidance, takes a long-term view of partnership and value creation.

The Rager Family Office makes direct investments in partnership with family offices, hedge funds, private equity groups, public companies, and institutional investors. One of the philosophies of the firm behind its investment philosophy is to partner with management and shareholder groups that possess higher operating performance, integrity, and transparency. These values are instilled in every business venture and investment opportunity The Rager Family Office embarks on.

Jason Rager's professional life is a mirror image of his entrepreneurial mindset, strategic vision, and commitment to ethical leadership. From his early days as a tech entrepreneur to his present position as a finance executive, he has always shown the capability to convert challenges into prospects. As the president of The Rager Family Office, he still shapes the business world by promoting growth, generating value, and maintaining integrity in investments. His life serves as a helpful model for future entrepreneurs and investors who would like to leave a lasting legacy in their respective industries.
