    • Jean-Baptiste Douville de Franssu and Michael Jackson join team bringing vast expertise gained during time with EFAMA and Skype respectively
    • Appointments are latest markers of growth for KNEIP – the leading data solutions firm for financial services

KNEIP, the leading data management and reporting solution provider to the asset management industry, is proud to announce the appointment of Jean-Baptiste Douville de Franssu and Michael Jackson as new board members – underlining the firm’s position as a driver of technology to create a better environment for investors.

As former President of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) and previously Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Europe, Jean-Baptiste brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the asset management field. Michael is the former Chief Operations Officer of Skype and is a Non-Executive Director of AXA UK, with over 30 years’ experience in technology and telecoms. The two skill-sets combined will work with KNEIP to reach its goal of making this world a better place for investors.

The appointments underline KNEIP’s commitment to provide the industry with efficient and transparent solutions. As a technology provider to more than 400 asset managers and insurers, globally, including 43 of the top 50 cross border management companies, KNEIP is very much on the front-line of tech in the investment space. As investors strive for greater transparency, access to information and for a swifter overall experience, digital solutions are fundamental in achieving this.

Jean-Baptiste is also a board member for Groupe La Française, Banque Degro of Petercam and ACOFI SCA, as well as chairman of INCIPIT and President of the Board of l’Istituto per le Opere di Religione. Coupled with Michael’s position as a Partner at Mangrove Capital and Tele2 AB, the two combine to enhance not only KNEIP’s truly global footprint, but the firm’s industry expertise as well.

Since its launch in 1993, KNEIP has grown organically and now develops reporting among multiple jurisdictions. As well as its offices across the UK and Europe, KNEIP also has clients in the USA and Asia and has strong ambitions for further geographic growth. KNEIP specialises in product governance and distribution, regulatory and financial reporting, and investor disclosures.

Commenting on the appointments Bob Kneip, Founder and Chairman of KNEIP, said: “The appointments of Jean-Baptiste and Michael further enhance our service offer to stakeholders. KNEIP is driven by a desire to transform the funds industry for investors. We are excited to welcome Jean-Baptiste and Michael to the team and are looking forward to receiving their guidance as we continue to navigate and drive the digital transformation of the funds industry.”
