Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today that Kip Brar has joined the firm’s Litigation department as a partner in Seyfarth’s Houston office. Kip comes from Strasburger& Price, LLP, where he served as a partner in Houston.
Kip’s practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation within the energy oil and gas, healthcare, and manufacturing industries. He has advised oil service companies, large petro-chemical producers, shipping corporations, offshore construction companies, and terminal operators facing a broad range of legal complexities. Kip also represents prominent healthcare systems and physician networks in both litigation and corporate matters.
“Kip is a very talented litigator with significant trial experience,” said Kate Perrelli, chair of Seyfarth’s Litigation department. “He is joining a remarkable group of litigators in Houston who are quickly expanding their energy and healthcare services well beyond the Houston market.”

Kip received his J.D. from Baylor Law School where he was an Editor of the Baylor Law Review. He earned a B.A., with special honors, from the University of Texas. Kip serves as a Board of Director for the Southern District of Texas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is the Chamber Chats Committee Chair.
