DEVOLO TO DEMONSTRATE SMART HOME TECHNOLOGY AT IFA 2016

Networking specialist to showcase latest advancements in Home Control product range

Powerline and home networking specialist devolo will be showcasing its latest range of smart home devices at IFA 2016.

The devolo Home Control system currently consists of twelve separate smart home components including devices for adjusting light settings, monitoring temperatures and providing automated home security alerts. To extend the range, devolo will be presenting new flush-mounted components. The devices can be installed into existing switches, dimmers and shutter control systems and connect directly to the Home Control Central Unit.

Home Control is already one of the most flexible smart home systems in the world. devolo will demonstrate how by using components from the Home Control Starter Pack, which includes a Central Unit, Smart Metering Plug and Door/Window Contact, the system can be expanded to include a wide range of components coordinated by a single Central Unit. Z-Wave certified components from other manufacturers can be integrated, including more than 1,000 smart home devices, while compatibility with other systems such as Philips Hue, ensures unrivalled functionality.

Alongside its smart home technology range, devolo will also be showcasing a new home networking Powerline adapter. The dLAN 550+ WiFi will add to the company’s existing range of 500 class Powerline adapters with the addition of range+ technology. The dLAN 550+ WiFi guarantees faster and stronger WiFi signal and improved range and connection stability in every room in the house. The adapter can transfer data at speeds of up to 500 Mbps over the household’s existing electrical circuit and up to 300 Mbps over WiFi for outstanding performance when surfing and streaming throughout the home.

devolo will also be unveiling its new high-end Gigabit-Speed WiFi-bridge, known as GigaGate. With the number of networked devices in the home constantly growing, the devoloGigaGate includes four multimedia jacks and a gigabit port that helps deliver faster connection speeds and stronger WiFi signal.
