Integration with AirWatch, Citrix, Good Technology and MobileIron platforms provide a proven Unified Communications solution that meets the security standards of the enterprise mobility market

CounterPath Corporation (NASDAQ: CPAH) (TSX: CCV), a developer of award-winning over-the-top (OTT) Unified Communications solutions for operators and enterprises announced that its Bria mobile softphone applications have received certification from  leading Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) vendors AirWatch, Citrix, Good Technology, and MobileIron and that Bria will be included in their online galleries. With this, businesses that have deployed MDM/EMM solutions offered by any one of these four leading vendors can purchase and deploy CounterPath’s softphone technology in a secure, managed way that complies with their IT policies.

IT administrators rely on MDM solutions to provision applications installed on mobile devices, to monitor their performance, and to manage various security threats that arise in the mobile environment. According to Research and Markets, the Mobile Device Management applications market is expected to grow from $1.01 Billion in 2013 to $ 3.94 Billion in 2019 at an estimated CAGR of 26.8%⁽¹⁾.

AirWatch, Citrix, Good Technology and MobileIron represent four of the five MDM vendors identified as market leaders in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility Management Suites⁽²⁾.
