The new partnership will see Karhoo become the first ground transportation marketplace to integrate with Conferma’s virtual payment solution

The new integration simplifying payments for thousands of businesses has been announced today between leading Fin-Tech company Conferma, and Karhoo, a global transportation provider, easing the payment process for both travellers and their organisations.

Tapping into the demand for efficient and cost-effective travel on the ground, Karhoo have combined proximity, price and service levels to deliver a smart transport solution, allowing for the shortest waiting times and the lowest ride fares.

This latest addition to the suite of Karhoo benefits prevents travel payments from being a huge point of friction. Conferma’s payment solution will make it easier for travellers and for companies to organise their travel, track expenses, pay suppliers and supply robust travel data.

Gavin Smith, Head of Travel Partnerships at Karhoo commented, “Hectic lifestyles and a need for convenience are fuelling a new era of consumer, reliant on breakthrough technologies that deliver on cost and ease of use.

“A major added benefit for travellers is the ability to book or pre-book transport fast, as well as arriving at the other end without the hassle of making payment or worrying about cash.

“Our partnership with Conferma is essential to make payments invisible and brings greater efficiencies for businesses at the same time as eliminating the hassle for travellers. Subsequently, we are able to streamline corporate travel efforts and open the door to new opportunities for growth.”

Combining technology to reduce the headaches of payment at the end of travel, as well as making it easier to do so is proving to be a winning formula in the travel world.

Founder and CEO of Conferma, Simon Barker added: “As a business owner, I understand the importance of tight controls and cost efficiencies in order to propel growth. We want to support international businesses by enabling them to cut corporate costs across all travel areas, without having to scale back.

“For Karhoo this eliminates a clunky payment process, creating scope for wider expansion and service excellence. Automating this process makes life easier for travellers and provides full visibility for businesses. We are delighted to be working in partnership with our first ever ground transportation organisation”

The partnership is expected to be of benefit to Karhoo clients worldwide.
