Montenegro’s leading bank to overhaul online and mobile channels to improve customer experience and boost sales

CrnogorskaKomercijalna Banka (CKB), member of OTP Group, has chosen Misys FusionBanking Essence to transform its digital channels with a new online and mobile banking offering in Montenegro. The bank will be able to improve user experience and security, as well as attract new customers through its advanced digital channels.

“Montenegro is a country with high mobile phone penetration and we are dedicated to improving our digital channels in order to maintain our position as a modern, tech-savvy bank. We want to provide our clients with the best online and mobile banking experience possible,” said NebojšaNedić, Executive Director for Retail Business at CKB. “FusionBanking Essence stood out in the market as the right platform to support our objectives and we are confident it will support us on our innovation journey.”

The deal sees the bank in the process of implementing the FusionBanking Essence platform. This includes modules dedicated to online, mobile, personal finance management (PFM) and digital sales. These all knit together to provide customers with a simple and fast banking experience across multiple channels.

Customers will enjoy a better view of their finances and be able to improve their financial health. Meanwhile the bank will be able to cement its digital brand and continue to build trust  with its customer base. It will benefit from new sales opportunities, enabling it to boost revenue as the digital sales module provides greater insight into customer needs.

“Banking on the go is becoming a staple of everyday life as time pressures and advancing technology change the way we interact with our bank. In this new digital era many banks are starting to embrace what we call the outside-in approach, taking a renewed focus on the needs of customers,” said Nadeem Syed, CEO at Misys. “We are helping CKB to digitalise and transform its retail banking offering so that it can better engage customers and drive new sales.”

FusionBanking Essence is built on 21st century technology. It is based on actionable analytics and cutting edge mobile and online banking technology to enable banks to create a new, differentiated customer experience.
