-Substantial Aquarius upgrade will provide factoring specialist with significant benefits-
Compagnie Générale d’Affacturage (CGA), a subsidiary of the Société Générale Group, which has worked in partnership with HPD for the last 24 years, has completed a substantial Aquarius software upgrade in May 2017 with the commercial finance technology specialist, to help underpin planned international growth.
CGA is a major factoring company specialising in receivables and supply chain finance. It has developed a wide range of products to meet the needs of businesses from microbusinesses, to SMEs and large corporates throughout the world.
CGA’s technology platform has enhanced the company’s capabilities and offerings to a complex market. With signified plans to expand its reach in new territories, CGA’s growth will be supported by HPD’s complete technology platform, Aquarius.
An upgrade to version six of the technology, will provide CGA’s customers with a superior experience when managing their funding facility. The move will also support hundreds of users, priming CGA for success and ensuring the company can meet the needs of SMEs and major corporations across the globe.
Jonathan Croft, Chief Information Officer, CGA – Société Générale factoring subsidiary, said: “HPD has always supported our business – as our core provider for working capital and factoring solutions. We felt the time had come for a major Aquarius upgrade, in order to help future proof our business for planned international growth and transformation.
“We focus hard on running IT like a business, and therefore appreciated the importance of making the system as simple and user-friendly as possible. The upgrade has gone smoothly and is now live at our French headquarters, and we look forward to rolling the technology out to other markets.”
Kevin Day, CEO at HPD Software, added: “CGA is one of our longest-standing clients, and we are delighted to be continuing to support the company on its planned expansion.
“This upgrade will make the system more robust and capable of handling greater volumes of transactions, as well as providing the best levels of customer service.”
