    International law firm Bird & Bird LLP, through its global association with Bird & Bird ATMD LLP, today appoints one of Singapore’s leading financial specialists, Kim Kit Ow, as a partner in the Singapore office.

    Kim Kit joins from RHTLaw Taylor Wessing where she was Deputy Head of its Banking and Finance practice. Before that, she was an in-house lawyer at Scotiabank, Credit Suisse and Senior Legal Counsel at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

    Kim Kit specialises in financial services, corporate and banking transactions. She advises on the legal aspects of product development, transactions and documentation, both from an investment and private banking angle.

    In her new role at Bird & Bird, Kim Kit will continue to develop the financial services sector group in Singapore and across Asia Pacific, focusing on optimising client work for existing and incoming business. She will also advise on derivatives, trade finance and regulatory matters.
