AXIOMSL APPOINTS LOUIS MATRONE AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF NORTH AMERICAN SALES

– Industry expert joins firm to drive global expansion

AxiomSL, global provider of regulatory reporting and risk management solutions, announced the appointment of Louis Matrone as Executive Vice President of North American Sales. In his new role, Matrone will preside over all North American sales responsibilities and will report directly to Alex Tsigutkin, CEO of AxiomSL.

“As AxiomSL continues to expand its presence globally, we need a proven industry veteran to lead our North American sales efforts,” said Tsigutkin. “We are confident that Louis’ knowledge and expertise gained from his vast experience in the financial services industry will be integral in our efforts to provide industry-leading regulatory and reporting solutions tailored to the ever-changing banking and asset management regulatory landscape.”

Matrone brings more than 20 years of experience and a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance issues within the financial services industry to this position. He joins AxiomSL from Oracle, where he served as Senior Director of Sales for Financial Services GBU. In this role Matrone lead the management and development of senior account relationships, pricing and closing deals within capital markets, core banking compliance and risk businesses. During his more than two decades of industry experience, he has also held senior level positions with a number of national and regional trading firms including Institutional Sales Trader at Jones Trading Institutional Services LLC and Director of Trading Operations at Rushmore Investments Advisors Inc. (RIA) where he oversaw all aspects of RIA securities trading.

Matrone is also an active member of the asset management and broker dealer community through his involvement with the Security Traders Association (STA), an organization he has been involved with for nearly fifteen years as a board member. Over this time he has been instrumental in leading grassroots efforts to promote the organization’s voice on key industry issues to facilitate positive change through legislation. He also previously served as Vice Chairman of STA & President of the Dallas Security Traders Association (DSTA).

Matrone received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mercy College.
